Our New Boat Has Arrived – Manannan Mac Lir

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new vessel, “Manannan Mac Lir”, (Manannan for short), after a long wait we recently took delivery of this superb state of the art charter boat. She’s a Swiftcat Catamaran 11.4m x 4.4m with twin engines, designed for speed, stability & comfort. With 2 x 420Hp engines, she cruises at 18-20 knots, has a top speed of 28 knots and has all the modern electronic & safety equipment you would expect, and more. After a tough 3 days to get her home from Breaksea Boats UK, she was truly tested, and hats off to Pete at Breaksea Boats because she never let us down, she is a fine seaworthy boat, well finished and running just fine.

With the new speed, bigger and more stable vessel we will have loads more room – take more passengers, and cancel less trips due to weather.

We will be able to target the offshore wrecks more often and in bigger seas, we can move from wreck to wreck with speed, and get there much faster than before.

All in all it opens up more and more options for our customers.
